The Park City area’s most successful private destination community notches best year ever: More than $60 million in sales is 30% jump over previous year
Heber Valley, Utah (Feb. 7, 2018) … Red Ledges—the premier Rocky Mountain private golf and active lifestyle community located less than an hour from Salt Lake City and minutes from Park City—finished 2017 having established numerous sales records.
Tallying up the closings of homes, homesites, club cabins, cottages and villas across the 2,000-acre community, Red Ledges sold 115 properties with a total value of almost $64 million – the highest dollar sales total in Red Ledges’ 10-year history. That total represents a 30% increase over 2016 – which was the previous record year!
And another Red Ledges record was broken in 2017 when a home on Explorer Peak Drive sold more for more than $3 million. Not only is that the highest price ever paid in the community, but the full-price offer came after the home had been listed by Red Ledges Realty for less than one week.
Helping the Red Ledges sales story was last year’s opening of a number of new neighborhoods. Notable among them is Summit Loop, located at the current high point on the property and offering unmatched views of Wasatch Mountain State Park, the Heber Valley and Deer Valley. The approximately 50 available lots in Summit Loop average over an acre in size, and range in price from $400,000 to $750,000.
Another record for the community: as 2018 began, more than 100 homes were either under construction or in the design and approval stages. The community debuted a new website in January 2018, with enhanced real estate search capabilities. To see available homes and properties, updated in real time, visit www.RedLedges.com/real-estate for the latest and most accurate listings.
Red Ledges was developed by Tony Burns and Nolan Archibald, long-time Fortune 500 CEOs with deep roots in the region. The vision and dedication of the Burns and Archibald families allowed Red Ledges to persevere through last decade’s real estate downturn; their story (as chronicled in celebration of the community’s 10th anniversary in 2017) can be viewed at www.RedLedges.com/about-red-ledges/.
